BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi: Over 980 Gather for Historic Vishwa Samvadita Yagna

BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi: In a poignant display of unity and reverence, over 980 individuals gathered at the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi to participate in the Vishwa Samvadita Yagna, a ceremony of Vedic prayers for global harmony.

This event, serving as a prelude to the upcoming ‘Festival of Harmony,’ stands as a significant occasion in the cultural and spiritual fabric of the city as it gears up for the historic inauguration of the BAPS Hindu Mandir.

Set to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 14th, this Mandir represents the first traditional Hindu stone mandir in the Middle East.

Steeped in ancient Hindu traditions, the yagna aimed to invoke blessings for peace, harmony, and prosperity for all residing in the UAE and beyond.

This assembly marked the first of its kind in the Middle East, attracting a diverse audience comprising dignitaries, spiritual leaders, and members of the community.

Guided by seven distinguished priests who journeyed from India, the ceremony was characterized by intricate rituals, supported by a committed team of over 200 devotees, enriching the spiritual experience for all participants.

Swami Brahmaviharidas, overseeing the Mandir project, underscored the significance of the event, noting, “Rarely does such a monumental yagna take place outside of India. It serves as a testament to the Mandir’s message of global unity, a value deeply cherished by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj.”
