Sunrisers Hyderabad stormed into the final defeating Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs

In IPL Cricket, Sunrisers Hyderabad stormed into the final defeating Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs in the second Qualifier match at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai last night.

Chasing victory target of 176 runs, Rajasthan Royals could manage only 139 runs for 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Earlier, put into bat, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 175 runs for 9 in 20 overs.

Heinrich Klaasen contributed 50 off 34 balls for Hyderabad while Dhruv Jurel scored unbeaten 56 off 35 for Rajasthan. Shahbaz Ahmed and Abhishek Sharma picked up 3 and 2 wickets respectively for Hyderabad while Trent Boult and Avesh Khan scalped 3 wickets each for Rajasthan. Shahbaz Ahmed was adjudged player of the match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will now face Kolkata Knight Riders in the summit clash at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai tomorrow. Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first Qualifier match.
