India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI: In men’s cricket, the host Sri Lanka defeated India by 32 runs in the second match of the series at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo last night.

Chasing a target of 241, India were bowled out for 208 in 42.2 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored 64 off 44 balls but other Indian batters failed to play promising knocks. Jeffrey Vandersay picked six wickets for Sri Lanka.

Earlier, opting to bat first, the hosts had posted 240 for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Washington Sundar was the best bowler for India, taking three wickets, and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets.

his victory gave Sri Lanka a 1-nil lead in the three-match One Day International bilateral series, as the first match had ended in a tie.
