British band Coldplay has announced an additional show in India, scheduled for Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The band will perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25, shortly after their three-show run in Mumbai wraps up. Tickets for this Ahmedabad concert will be available starting November 16 at 12 pm on BookMyShow.
Coldplay revealed the news on November 13 with a post on X, stating, “2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED. The band will play their biggest ever show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 January 2025. Tickets on sale Saturday, 16 November at 12 pm IST.”
Similar to the Mumbai shows, the Ahmedabad ticket booking process will feature a virtual queue system with an automated queue randomization system for fairness. Fans can expect a smooth experience as they await their turn to secure tickets.
Attendees can anticipate iconic Coldplay hits such as Yellow, The Scientist, Clocks, Fix You, Viva La Vida, Paradise, A Sky Full of Stars, and Adventure of a Lifetime, promising an unforgettable live experience.
This announcement follows the previously scheduled Mumbai shows on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. Coldplay, comprising Chris Martin (lead vocals), Jonny Buckland (guitar), Guy Berryman (bass), and Will Champion (drums), last performed in India in 2016 at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.
Their return marks a nine-year hiatus since their last performance on Indian soil, making this tour highly anticipated among fans.
