IAF to Showcase 40 Aircraft in Spectacular Republic Day Flypast Over Kartavya Path

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to deliver a spectacular aerial showcase during the Republic Day parade on January 26. This year, 40 aircraft will participate in a precision flypast over Kartavya Path, demonstrating the skill and strength of the force.

India’s premier fighter jets and versatile aircraft, including the MiG-29, Rafale, Sukhoi-30, Jaguar, Apache, C-130, C-295, and C-17, will be part of the display. The flypast will feature intricate formations such as Dof hawj, Baaz, Ajay, Satluj, Arjan, Netra, and Bheem, highlighting the Air Force’s operational excellence.

Wing Commander Manish Sharma shared that the extensive preparations for the flypast emphasize the IAF’s dedication to showcasing its capabilities. “This year, 40 aircraft will participate in the Republic Day flypast over Kartavya Path, underscoring the strength and prowess of the Indian Air Force,” he said.

Beyond the aerial display, the IAF will also make its presence felt on the ground. A marching contingent comprising 148 IAF personnel, led by Squadron Leader Mahendra Singh, will showcase the indomitable spirit of the force as they stride down Kartavya Path.
