Delhi’s Lt. Governor submits resignation to President Ram Nath Kovind

Delhi News: In breaking news today Delhi’s Lt. Governor Anil Baijal, has resigned from his position due to personal reasons. He has handed over his resignation to President Ram Nath Kovind.

Baijal, a retired civil servant, had taken over as the Lt Governor of Delhi in December 2016. His tenure of five years has ended.

Anil Baijal is a 1969 batch IAS and previously, he has served as Union Home Secretary under former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and has held other key positions as well.
