India Women Dominate West Indies by 115 Runs in 2nd ODI
In women’s cricket, India secured a dominant 115-run victory over the West Indies in the second ODI at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara, last evening, sealing the three-match series 2-0 with one game remaining.
Electing to bat, India posted a colossal total of 358/5 in 50 overs. Harleen Deol led the charge with her maiden century, smashing 115 runs off 103 balls. Contributions from co-captain Smriti Mandhana, Pratika Rawal, and Jemimah Rodrigues, who each scored half-centuries, bolstered India’s innings, leaving the visitors a daunting chase.
In reply, the West Indies faltered under pressure and were bowled out for 243 in 46.2 overs. Priya Mishra spearheaded the Indian bowling with a three-wicket haul, while Deepti Sharma, Pratika Rawal, and Titas Sadhu claimed two wickets each.

Harleen Deol’s all-round performance earned her the Player of the Match award. In the first ODI, India had secured a comprehensive 211-run victory over the visitors. The third and final match of the series is scheduled for Friday.
