During a pre-match press conference, India’s assistant coach, Aavishar Salvi, expressed confidence, stating that the team knows how to recover from a defeat. On the other hand, Pakistan has started their campaign strong, having secured a win over Sri Lanka in their first match.

The Indian women’s cricket team started their T20 World Cup 2024 run on a bad note as they got outplayed by New Zealand in their opening game.
Pakistan, on the other hand, claimed a 31-run victory in their opening game against Sri Lanka. They will aim to maintain their winning momentum when they take on India on Sunday. As for the Indian team, they currently sit at the bottom of their group in the T20 World Cup standings, while Pakistan is two spots ahead in third place.
