In Cricket, host Sri Lanka today won the three-match ODI series 2-0 as they defeated India by 110 runs in the third and final match at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Earlier, Sri Lanka set a target of 249 runs for 7 wickets after winning the toss. Chasing the target, India were all-out at 138 runs in 26.1 overs.
In the series, the first match ended in a tie while Sri Lanka clinched the second ODI by 32 runs. By winning the third and final match, the host secured their first bilateral series against India after 27 years.
