T20 World Cup: Today, India and Afghanistan will kick off their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 campaign in a highly anticipated match.
The game will take place at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown in Barbados at 8 PM IST. Meanwhile, England and West Indies will also begin their Super 8 campaign in Group 2 at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia at 6 AM IST.
Last night at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, South Africa emerged victorious over the USA by 18 runs in their Super 8 (Group 2 Match) of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Cricket. Despite chasing a target of 195 runs, USA could only manage 176 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

In the match between USA and South Africa, Andries Gous was the top scorer with an unbeaten 80 runs, while Harmeet Singh contributed 38 valuable runs. Kagiso Rabada took three wickets for South Africa, with Keshav Maharaj, Anrich Nortje, and Tabraiz Shamsi each taking one wicket. USA won the toss and chose to bowl first. South Africa scored 194 for four in their twenty overs, with Quinton de Kock making 74 runs and Aiden Markram scoring 46 runs.
Quinton de Kock was awarded Player of the Match. Saurabh Netravalkar and Harmeet Singh, left-arm pacer and spinner for the USA team, respectively, each took two wickets.
