30-day age relaxation for kids of nursery, KG and class 1 in Delhi, admission will start from 29 November

The department had implemented the upper age limit last year for admission in nursery, KG and class 1. A child has to be less than 4 years for admission in nursery as on March 1, 2020, below 5 years for KG and less than 6 years for class 1. Admission will start from November 29.

The registration process for admission in nursery in private schools will start from November 29.

DoE said, Further the age relaxation of up to 30 days may be granted at the level of heads of schools in the maximum as well as the minimum age limit.”
