RRR movie actor Ray Stevenson dies at age 58

The actor Ray Stevenson, who played British Governor Scott Buxton in SS Rajamouli’s RRR died at age 58. His death was announced four days before his 59th birthday. No cause of death has been revealed but he was reportedly hospitalised during filming on the Italian island Ischia. SS Rajamouli have also penned a note expressing grief over the death of the actor. In a tweet, SS Rajamouli said Ray Stevenson brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. He added, It was infectious, working with him was pure joy.

Ray also appeared in major TV shows such as Rome, Vikings and Dexter. He was known for roles in the Thor films and the Divergent series, as well as several UK TV shows like Band of Gold, Peak Practice and Murphy’s Law.
