People are not following Social distancing norms in Delhi Metro. There is a sudden hike in covid cases in Delhi. Yesterday 1558 fresh covid cases found in Delhi. The social distancing norms are being violated regularly inside Delhi Metro trains.
DMRC posted 1 tweet on Thursday morning asking people to follow social distancing protocols and politely request others to do the same. They are using the hashtag #CovidIsntOverYet to remind the people that the Covid cases are on a rise again.
To ensure our travel guidelines are being followed, Delhi Metro’s Flying Squads penalised 318 commuters on 24 March 2021 for not wearing a face mask properly & following social distancing. DMRC posted a fresh tweet on 27th March 2021 to ensure the social distancing norms and penalising people and requesting others to follow the guidelines. DMRC set up Flying Squad for this purpose.
