IDF Airstrike Kills Hezbollah Commander Nabil Qaouk in Beirut

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the successful elimination of Nabil Qaouk, a senior Hezbollah official.

Qaouk, who served as the Commander of Hezbollah’s Preventative Security Unit and a member of its Executive Council, was killed in a targeted operation described by the IDF as precise and deliberate.

He was a veteran of the organization, joining Hezbollah in the 1980s and holding several strategic positions, including Deputy Commander of Hezbollah’s southern region.

The IDF emphasized Qaouk’s direct involvement in actions against Israel.

In a related event, the body of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was reportedly recovered from the site of the strike.

Meanwhile, IDF forces operating in Gaza have uncovered and neutralized an extensive underground tunnel network, stretching over a kilometer. The tunnels, found near civilian areas in central Gaza, were equipped with rooms and resources that indicated long-term use by Hamas militants.

The IDF stated that these operations are part of their ongoing efforts to recover hostages and dismantle Hamas’s infrastructure in the region. The Israeli military has vowed to continue targeting Hezbollah leaders and other figures deemed threats to Israel’s security.
