Twitter Layoffs: Twitter Inc. has shut its offices two of its three offices in India and told its staff to work from home as part of the cost-cutting drive in the company.
The social media giant has closed its offices in New Delhi and Mumbai and will function only from its Bengaluru office, the report said, citing “people familiar with the matter. “
Twitter had abruptly sacked 90% of its staff in India in November as part of its global policy to slash costs put in place by Musk.
Although Twitter has millions of users in India including PM Modi who alone has 86.5 million followers social media platform.
After conducting mass layoffs in 2022, Elon Musk is now shutting Twitter offices.
