Weather Forecast: Southwest monsoon likely to cover remaining parts of country

Weather Forecast: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the Southwest monsoon is likely to advance into the remaining parts of the country during the next two days. It said the active monsoon conditions are likely to continue over the Northwest during the next two days and along the west coast during the next three days.

IMD has predicted heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Konkan, and Gujarat today. Heavy to Very Heavy falls are also very likely over Goa and Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh during next 5 days.
