In women’s cricket, India registered a historic 347-run win over England in the one-off Test match in Mumbai.

However, in reply, England’s batters did not make it even past lunch and their innings crumbled at just 131 runs. Continuing her first innings’ steller performance of 5 wickets for seven runs, Deepti Sharma scalped four wickets in the second innings, finishing the match with nine wickets in addition to her first-innings half-century. She was adjudged Player-of-the-Match.
