Wrestlers reach Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur’s residence in New Delhi for talks
The protesting wrestlers led by Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik have reached the residence of Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur in New Delhi for talks. The wrestlers are protesting against the Wrestling Federation of India Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, demanding his arrest as some women wrestlers have accused him of sexually harassing them. A few days back, Home Minister Amit Shah also met a delegation of protesting wrestlers
The government is willing to have a discussion with the wrestlers on their issues.
