Hemant Soren Sworn in as Jharkhand’s 14th Chief Minister

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren will be sworn in today as the 14th Chief Minister of Jharkhand. The oath of office and secrecy will be administered by Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar at a ceremony scheduled for 4 PM at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi.

Prominent leaders from the INDIA bloc, including Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, have arrived in Ranchi to attend the event.

According to Akashvani correspondents, elaborate arrangements have been made for the ceremony. This marks Hemant Soren’s fourth term as Chief Minister, a significant milestone in his political journey.

Notable leaders attending the event include Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Prasad Yadav, and senior RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav. Their presence underscores the importance of the event within the INDIA bloc alliance.

To ensure smooth proceedings, schools across Ranchi district have been closed for the day to minimize traffic congestion. Party workers and supporters from across the state have gathered in large numbers to witness the historic occasion.

The stage is set for a grand celebration as Jharkhand welcomes its new leadership under Hemant Soren.
