DISTANCE BETWEEN SUN AND EARTH MENTIONED IN SHREE Hanuman Chalisa

As per Hanuman Chalisa, when Hanuman Ji was a kid one day he was feeling terribly hungry, his mother was also not present there. So he came and out of his house started searching for food nearby. Finally under a tree he saw a big reddish, ripe, luscious fruit glowing brilliantly, so he jumped to catch and gobble it. That fruit was nothing but Sun glowing in the sky, Lord flew from earth to the sky in the direction of the sun to eat it. Tulsidas Ji while stating this incident in the Chaleesa in simple languages gives the distance between Earth and the Sun.

जुग सहस्त्र जोजन पर भानु ,
लील्यो ताहि मधुर फल जानू||

In English –

Juga sahastra jojan par bhaanu,
Leelyo taahi madhur phal jaanu.

Meaning, sun is at the distance of Yug shastra yojan.

After, certain intellectuals decoded this famous line of Hanuman Chalisa by Tulsidas they could find the distance of earth and guess what? It is exactly the same as that discovered by scientist later. In the year 1653, astronomer Christiaan Huygen- s with his guesswork estimated the distance from earth to the sun.

However, since his work was a guess, he too didn’t get the credit. It is Giovanni Cassini who is named as the discoverer of the distance from earth to sun who gave a scientific study in the year 1673.

Now Let’s See what the Intellectuals (Garjajev’s Research Group) got after Decoding the Lines of Hanuman Chalisa written by Shri Tulsidas Ji…

Juga means the sum of Four Yugas (1 complete Mahayuga) with unit in divine years.
Kaliyuga=4800 divine years
Dwaparyuga=3600 divine years
Tretayuga=2400 divine years
Satyuga=1200 divine years

So 1 Yuga is 12000 divine years

1 Sahastra is 1000 years

1 Yojan is 8 miles

Yuga X Shastra X Bhanu is

1200- 0 X 1000 X 8 = 96000000 miles

1 mile is 1.6 km

So, 96000000 X 1.6 = 1536000000 km

This is the exact round figure distance of earth from Sun on 3rd July because studies mention the distance of 152,093,481 km from earth to sun during the aphelion (The period when earth is farthest from the Sun)…
