Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that India has created a world record with 64.2 crore voters participating in the Lok Sabha Polls.

Election Commission has begun home voting facilities for the senior citizens above 85 years of age and Divyangs in New Delhi for the Lok Sabha election.

The Lok Sabha polls will be conducted in seven phases beginning the 19th of next month. The counting will take place on 4th June.
