Honda has introduced two new electric personal vehicles in India: the Activa e: and the QC1. The Activa e: features two swappable Honda Mobile Power Pack e: batteries, while the QC1 is equipped with a fixed battery system. With these launches, Honda’s global electric vehicle lineup now includes 13 models, aligning with its vision to introduce 30 electric vehicles worldwide by 2030.
“Honda is committed to creating models tailored for the Indian market, reflecting local preferences,” the company stated. It reiterated its goal of achieving carbon neutrality across all products and activities by 2050 and electrifying its motorcycle lineup during the 2040s as part of its environmental strategy.
Built on the platform of Honda’s best-selling Activa, the Activa e: delivers performance comparable to a 110cc petrol-powered scooter. Powered by two swappable Honda Mobile Power Pack e: batteries, it drives an innovative wheel-side motor with a rated output of 4.2 kW and a peak output of 6.0 kW.

The QC1 scooter features a fixed 1.5 kWh battery with high-energy density and a long-cycle life. It can be conveniently recharged at home using a specialized charger.
These launches underscore Honda’s commitment to sustainable mobility and innovation, offering efficient and stylish electric options for urban commuters in India.
